I am originally from Tennessee, where most of my life I attended church with my mom. I was saved at age nineteen while reading my Bible. Two weeks later I was in the Army. Eventually stationed at Fort Riley, Kansas, I met a church planter in nearby Manhattan, Kansas, from Bob Jones University. While I was serving at Faith Baptist Church, God called me to preach. I attended Bob Jones University and earned a B.A. in Bible, graduating in 1999. At Bob Jones I met my lovely wife. Jessica grew up in the Detroit area, where she was saved as a young child. After college, God led me to further study at Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary in Allen Park, Michigan. While I was in seminary, the Lord opened an opportunity for me to pastor Ambassador Baptist Church of Royal Oak, Michigan. We served at this church from 2000-2008. Jessica taught fourth grade at a Christian school for three years before staying home to help me in the ministry. The Lord blessed us with our first daughter, Annika Joy, in 2005 and our second, Ava Rose, in 2006. I received my Master of Divinity degree in May of 2006. After seminary God began working in both our hearts to make us open to serving in another ministry. We are excited and grateful for the opportunity to serve here and look forward to seeing God work.
